Dtraders1 wrote: @ch1nmuzak I think AAB will vote No because they can make more money with a better deal or by simply let LIX go above 3$ and collect an extra 3 millions shares.  The funny things is normally when there is a hostile takeover we could see defensive measure like the "poison pill" but this takeover was recommended by LIX board so now the way I look at things is if AAB vote No well it gives a chance to defeat this deal and give AAB more growth potential by getting more $$$ for their investment so in order words AAB could be the defensive measure if we feel we could get a better deal.  We are at less than 3 weeks for the vote so the market will get more volatile with greater volume.  If the deal pass then AAB will be very attractive because the P/B should increase as investor see AAB being very liquid because of large sum of cash available.

I think stam barthi will vote no too. He's clearly long on Li in general. He is likely to view this offer as poor and a.low ball .... assuminh he's not being paid off on the side to votevl yes. He has a history of fIghting for shareholder rights when he feels directors of something he owns are doing him wrong so ... this story may b far from over. AAB's vote is critical to the result ! The next 2-3 weeks should b very interesting.
