These days they simply type a number into a screen and we give them back real currency, total BS. Trudeau sold us out in the early 70's when the govt stopped borrowing from the Bank of Canada. The federal reserve is the worst joke of all tho, in 1913 congress in the states sold their whole country out. The banking system is and always will be a sham, thats why things like bitcoin are getting so popular. Trump wanted to shut down the Federal reserve but was basically put in his place. Theres a reason they dont explain banking and the creation of currency in our schools etc the whole system is set up for us to be indebted to them for life.
Unfortunately I was around when old man Trudeau was in power, he started the mess that continues today, and Canadians went & said to make fools of us again by electing his kid, shame on us, that's all I'll say on that.
I will agree with you on the corruption & the banking systems motive, but I do not subscribe to the notion that we are destined to be indebted to them or anyone else for that matter. I've always worked with and controlled debt to my favour, to the point where I've made money from the banks, using there own products. I'm viewed as a loss leader for the banks, as I make money off of them by not carrying any debt and leveraging their products to my benefit. The problem we have in society is that people need to have their wants met at all costs, to the peril of their future. I've lived within my means all my life, whether in prosperity or little, not allowing my desires to warp my sense of financial suicide. This philosophy has served me well & provided financial blessings, so don't ever think that debt is necessary to navigating through life, it can be as simple as changing your priorities.
