Imagine that 5 small pharmacies service..500 beds each. They all do a pretty good job but one has a pharmacist that is interested in nursing home or assisted living care. Along comes Centric Health with their team and their platform and their liquidity and they say... sign with us and together we can service all 2500 beds more efficiently. By the way... if you don't want to... no big deal... we are meeting with your competitors tomorrow amd we have new grads from U of T and UBC itching at the opportunity. Now multiply that 2500 bed scenario by say... 4 possible geographical areas. 10000 beds serviced in a potentially more cost effective manner. Hmmm... win... win... win... the residents win... Centric wins... and believe it or not the other 4 pharmacies also win because they can focus on their own strengths. Those sellimg here are either in this for a short term buck or they do not understand the business model. If they get together with "Nurse Next Door or a similar group and service the home beds..... look out... .50 may not be the share price... it could be the annual dividend... maybe not tomorrow but some day.
