RE:RE:Discussion on today's NR?Hi Skidaddle
Good Post.
On Dinesh - He has done a very good job to build up the core technical capability from the RF and Stand Off industry.
Having been in liase with Dinesh for some including face to face, the one thing about him that is positively remarkable, is his ethic. I believe that this is not move is not a push or a shove, more of a managerial drill down into the immediate needs of the business of which he himself instigated for the needs of the business. Dinesh has a very serious amount of skin in the game and he is certainly no slouch when it comes to shewd moves to do what is best for the business.
From my experiences in this business it is a very rare occurance when the founding management team in a publically listed company or a VC financed entity for that matter remain in position for more than a couple of years - So in reflection this is a natural part of the company gowing up.
The comments in regard to cash burn is a highly relevant one. I would also say that time burn is twice as urgent. If common sense prevails they should restrict all activities that deviate focus or cash burn away from product development and system stability. There are in my opinion a few things that need to be done to hone that focus to pinpoint precision, this said there needs to be a few hard lessons that must be learned. To not let the team go through such is circumventing valuble due process that often also also yields along with the rocks and worms usually lays a few gold nuggets in the way of discoveries to shape another product for another vertical.
