Anything is possible. But I don't believe KL will act out so harshly on NVO so soon. They only jumped in heavily last September. And the scenario you describe above does not serve NVO shareholders well. And remember who is the largest individual NVO shareholder, and a KL senior executive as well. Tx
I know, but i cant see why he wouldnt be buying novo right now, if it wasnt the plan all along to take over cheap.
He's still buying ggi every chance he gets.
He also sold newmarket cheap to KL. He likes to combine his company's. Given his age, thats a lot less meetings to go to...
ES has a major consideration with NVO. He also sits on the board now, so he is part of the NVO senior management . He had to be careful how he interacts with KL and purchases shares. So I would think he simply has enough for now. And he needs QH to prove out NVOs prospects. And one final note: KL needs board approval for a NVO takeover - more than just ES. And I don't think NVO is ready - still too much risk. Tx
Kirkland lake already stated that they dont see novo as an investment. They want to be the producer, not just a shareholder. They were comfortable to provide the money for nearly 20% of the company, to get in early. So i think they will take the risk for all of it as well (at an unexpected?? price). Dont forget their team confirmed 85km of strike length... KL high, novo low, gold going higher. Great set up for KL.
