I wonder if that is the way they go .. that approach certianly did
a lot of good for Teck's share price but then again Teck were
carrying alot more debt per share they peeled off (2016ish-2017) -2.5 billion
we only carry .15/ share at the moment
Precisely ... debt is not an issue for TV and there are also early payout penalties associated with the GLEN debt. Just pay off max allowed w/o penalty. Reorganizing debt so more of it is future dated would also b positive. IMO Share buy back is the best way for this company at this time to affect SP positively over the long term. Not sure if TV has any governance over buy backs in place ( e.g. max % of float that can b bought back ) ? If nothing else ... a buyback announcement would b an unmistakeable message to the market that TV has cash.
