Investment vs. Speculation

Investment vs. SpeculationThere is constant talk of "news", as if it's a holy mantra. Everyone is waiting for "news", hoping for "news", predicting "news"...and grousing about lack of "news". My investments consist mainly of two types...investment grade and speculative grade. "Investment grade" is self explanatory, now let me explain my speculative side and its relationship with "news". I have followed this rule and it has served me well... "Buy on rumour and sell on news." But time yourself carefully...just never try to time the highs and lows, as that is a fool's game.
