RE:AME RoundUp in Vancouver

RE:AME RoundUp in Vancouver
Talk was disappointing especially considering the nature of the crowd. All technical people this isn`t a promo event. Some general slides on ages of the formations and QH used the word alluvial about 20 times. Never pushed the witts story as it is not anything near Witts geology and this is the wrong crowd to push that on. Disappointed with the Outback Jack guy with a shovel pictures and story. Nothing bulk sampling methods or anything technical on the project geology in detail. I think it was a lost opportunity to give the project crediability. Speaker hall holds an easy thousand and definately probably the best attended talk. I would say about 300 people walked out after so there was alot of people who came specifically for QH presentation. Had a rock with a small nugget at the core shack and some split polished core. The un weathered drill core is much more a matrix that is much different from the soft material that the youtube guys are chiselling out nuggets. The core had no specs of VG and I left wondering why such an underwhelming display from a so called monster deposit of gold. Two rocks with small nuggets didn`t impress me or anyone else especially I figured we would had bowls of nuggets like in the videos. QH talked in general about what other s have found in the region which was really hearsay. Like I said used the reworked beach placer model which I think is believeable and even include Nome Alaska pictures and a slide of a diver from Alaska Gold TV show pointing to a nugget on the ocean bottom. NVO really lost an opportunity to give this project some crediability IMO. The SP is telling that the discovery story is getting stale
