RE:ho hum - more insider buys (48$USD per Mcf?..I'll take it) Josh is a believer in IBR and definitely puts his money, time and action into making this a success. I know about major shareholders who were insiders (i.e. Delek had 2 bod's in IAE). They're definitely in it to make a good profit and Mr. Young is no different.
Incidentally is anyone surprised that an RJ Analyst gave the first and most negative quote in the "...But Analysts Drop the Stock" FP Article? RJ's never missed an opportunity this past year to take a swing at RMP/IBR. It's like watching Mike Tyson showing Robin Givens some drunken 2am knuckle love. In any event RJ's behaviour to me is just plain strange like they've taken something very personal.
Auburn2 asked what the cost of an 80 stage frac will be (vs. the previous ones I presume). The completion system I think IBR will be using on the 2 upcoming wells sounds like NCS Multistage: https://www.ncsmultistage.com/ I've looked into using that system myself and I'm aware of some excellent results (i.e. Kicking Horse/Orlen in deep Kakwa Montney) where an engineer said the results were looking to exceed type curve. The use of coil tubing and the sliding sleeve system decreases risk of sandoff, allows instant circulation of sand if a stage can't be pumped, gets around the issues involving ball drops and reduces the potential for frac "pinch out" from over-flushing too much. Overall the quality of the job should be better for each stage than other systems with fewer operational hiccups. I think time-wise (I could be wrong here) using NCS will take a longer due to completing many more stages and therefore cost more but I don't think that's a significant amount compared against the economic benefit of having all those extra stages opened up. This isn't anything I'm nervous about.
