RE:My opinion on the small city Canadian bus marketI was a huge believer in BUS and put my friends and family into it as well. For a lot of different reasons I sold early last summer and have watched it closely looking for a reason to jump back in. I have a acquaintance here in town who is a bus driver and we have several Vicinity buses in our fleet. I spoke with him in December and asked for his opinion on the bus. He mentioned two small sounding problems and I said "thats not bad then." He politely mentioned another problem and then another. I still thought things were fine but realized he could probably have gone on and I dropped it. He wasn't slagging the bus, he just answered my question. He is a good person and I would trust him with anything. I was out of town a week ago and was introduced to a bus driver from a larger city. I asked him if he has heard of the Vicinity bus and said it was made in Aldergrove. He quickly jumped on me saying they are made in China. He quickly told me several things he didn't like about them including being underpowered going up hill, the transmisions, brakes, and more. He said he thinks they are made for mileage but aren't well made. I know all about the Altoona testing, I read all 122 or so pages before I bought my original shares. I don't think the Vicinity buses have a good reputation and that may be contributing to the pullback in share price? Not what you want to hear but those are a part of the reason I'm still on the sidelines looking for a reason to buy back in. I don't think the company has EVER levelled with the shareholders. They have had numerous problems but don't think we are capable of handling the truth.
