VanEck Low Carbon Energy ETF V.GEX

Primary Symbol: SMOG

The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Ardour Global IndexSM (Extra Liquid). The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in stocks of low carbon energy companies. Such companies may include small- and medium-capitalization companies and foreign issuers. Low carbon energy companies refers to companies primarily engaged in alternative energy, including renewable energy, alternative fuels and related enabling technologies (such as advanced batteries). It is non-diversified.

RE: re price move

RE: re price moveMy take would be, that due to the small volume that took the price down and similar small volume took it back up today, someone is yanking the GEX chain With the poor results in the sector over all vis a vie price for stock(certainly not Profit results) the overall markets just don't know what value to settle on which sectors, let alone individual stock valuations. It is WITCHING SEASON in more ways than one: i)end of October ii)presidential elections down south iii)start of taxloss selling season iv)who really knows what oil and gas will be selling for next year????? v)Are we really entering an energy crunch on supply side( I think so but I also believe the majority of the investing public thinks this is just O&G sector hype). I never thought I would be looking forward to a good old fashion cold snap to hit this continent, preferably before Christmas!!!!!!
