Bulls & Bears....I've been using Value Line for 30 years + (U.S.) and like the research because first, it offers un-biased information and two, offers 15 years of financial data on companies. VL research provides data primarely for S&P500 companies and does follow a fair number of large cap senior Canadian companies such banks, utilities and a few industrials. The research isn't cheap to subscribe to, and is used by pension fund management because of the broad financial data provided.
Most full service brokers have ready access to VL and when asked, will share the research with clients. VL provides updates quarterly. Another interesting feature of VL is their 3 to 5 year share price perspective for the company it provides research on.
December's comments by VL on Bombardier were upbeat and the Airbus joint venture seen as positive. The 3 to 5 year share price perspective provided (2020 to 2023) was a low of $8 and a high of $16 per share:) GLTA.
