RE:RE:RE:RE:SmarterSquirrel.com - Does FIRE have 439% upside?Fastlane2, thanks for the constructive discussion. The 2017 statistics I used included Statistics Canada 2017 view of the Canadian market at 770 tonnes, 94% of which was recreational market. But given we are trying to predict the future, nobody can really know what will happen, so I have to admit I could be wrong. I am not trying to fear monger, I am trying to summarize my position based on the data I've seen. I'm just trying to make the best assessment I can. You bring up a good point on the oils. I wasn't able to find good data on the amount of oil being consumed. Or the amount of crop being grown specifically for oil. If you have come across any data on global cannabis oil supply and demand please share. I would assume the similar laws of supply and demand on the flower would apply to oil. In that if everyone is rushing in to supply flower. Then everyone is equally likely to be rushing in to supply oil. And again the costs of producing oil in temperate climates should be less than the costs of producing oil in colder climates. But I would really like to see any data on the oil market if you've seen it.
