Ur-Energy Inc. is engaged in uranium mining, recovery and processing activities, including the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of uranium mineral properties in the United States. It is focused on uranium recovery and processing operations, in addition to the exploration for and development of uranium mineral properties. Its land portfolio in Wyoming includes 12 projects. 10 of these projects are in the Great Divide Basin (GDB), Wyoming, including its flagship project, Lost Creek Project. It controls nearly 1,800 unpatented mining claims and three State of Wyoming mineral leases for a total of approximately 35,400 acres at its Lost Creek Property, including the Lost Creek permit area and certain adjoining projects which it refers to as LC East, LC West, LC North, LC South and EN project areas (collectively, with the Lost Creek Project, the Lost Creek Property). RE:RE:RE:RE:Thoughts on gold project??I would doubt if they develop it themselves. My guess would be do enough drilling to prove there's something there, then either give up the land for a profit share of a JV, or if it's lucritive enough, sell it outright to a current gold company who's better positioned to develop the resource. Either way it would be good for URE.
The downside could be blowing a bunch of money on exploration, only to find out it's not a viable deposit, burning cash without a return.
Hopefully the next drill results to get released are positive, as they've obviously already started spending some money on it. If the Ur market doesnt pick up soon, then atleast if they find some gold it could help out our SP as well as attract a fresh investor base to the stock, who may not normally look at a Ur company. Let's hope it's good news and we're not just chasing the rabbit down the hole.
