Checking in....It has been awhile since I have posted but I'm a regular reader and as this post heading suggests - check in from time to time. This insider buying no doubt instills some confidence and is an overall positive. IMO, however, it also suggests that there no be NO private placement for the follow up drills at Shovelnose. Otherwise, why buy additional shares in the open market? Per the drill release dated Jan 16, I liked these comments: "It is management's belief that these newly identified gold mineralized structures in the Alpine South Zone are likely the feeder zones responsible for the gold mineralization found near surface in the Alpine Zone". I'm no geologist but I have been around these JR miners long enough to know that each time you sink a hole in the ground, you learn something new about the geology. What did Westhaven say? "This is the most significant discovery made to date at Shovelnose and we are keen to get back there as soon as practicable." Given that a ground magnetic survey was initiated within days of the news release, it sounds to me that weather permitting, those drills will be turning in quick order. More importantly, and assuming that they have located some feeder zones, the next drill looks to be our best shot at discovering something economic. If robust results, what will that tell us of the other two properties of Skoonka and Prospect? These too are characterized as low-sulphidation epithermal type deposits. To close, fingers crossed and may thanks to the posts and input by all. GLTA
