deal with Airbus

deal with AirbusIt is easy for us now that the Boeing trauma is behind us to forget that we were almost chocking under debts and bad news (and no sales) before Airbus came to our rescue.  Foe a deal to be made, it requires that both parties have their benefits.

I am personally convinced that without the support of Airbus, bombardier would have barely survived for years to come if noy forever.  At the pace we are producing (30 planes /year in what year) we had work for the next 10 years.  And now we would have to hope that airlines would not fear to buy planes from a company that seem to always have a foot in the coffin!

Guys, let's wake up and stop smoking pot.  Airbus is our lifeline and there is a price to pay for that.  Like the old sage said several times it is better to receive 50% of $10 rather than 0% of $100.
And by the way, the $6B is gone forever, notwithstanding what we do with Airbus.

Now that Boeing hs been shut down by the Committee, we are the whiners.
