RE:Sold at profit but not happy that I had to sell

RE:Sold at profit but not happy that I had to sellYou know best what you had to do.  I only sold my call options (with an expiry on Feb 16).  Here, the windfall was obvious and a great (but pleasant) surprise.  I am hanging on to my shares, though.  The $27 offer puts a floor under the share price.  Even if Motorola were to walk away, the $38 million  fee they would have to fork over to AVO would boost the share value by 1$, and the growth prospects have been established.  There is a chance for a higher offer, although the $38 million fee works both ways, and a competitor would have to offer significantly more than $28 to make the payment of $38 million to Motorola feasible.  Even if there were only rumors of further talks to surface, the share price could reach significantly higher values than $27.00.
Anyway: it's low risk to wait a little longer before I sell my shares.
