Way too cheap

Way too cheapI've often contributed to this post, mostly to defend AF against those who did not have a longer time horizon.  I thought he had a vision, and was courageous in applying practises that would give long term growth rather than short term results, and he succeeded.  Increases in spending to promote the sales staff and research cost the SP over the short term but gave AVO a bright future.  Even the much critized building purchase turned out to be a master stroke, and the Texas facility will be a long term boon.
All of a sudden that future for us shareholders has been jerked away for what is truly a pittance.  Another quarter or two of sustained growth would easily have put the SP over $27.  I don't know what is in AF's mind but I for one am truly disapointed with him.  I wonder if he has just become tired of it all.
