RE:RE:RE:Shareholders Opposition

RE:RE:RE:Shareholders OppositionHi fellow shareholders and interested people,

With all due respect, I don't think that it will work for us to set up an office and collect dues.  I don't believe that we will attract more shareholders that way. I do believe that we need to and  can increase our membership base (and therefore votes at the AGM), but charging a membership fee, having lawyers and accountants involved at this stage, and requiring commitments (eg to not sell) will put off some shareholders who might otherwise join.  This is just my personal opinion.

On a personal level, I own a large nuber of shares and I feel a commitment to this project. I am not working (ie no day job),  so I can put time and money into it.

My suggestion is to keep the on-line group as our official structure, but that we post a membership form where people add the following  - the number of shares that can be voted at the AGM, the name of the owner (I believe that this is important, as it can be verified by Noranda to show that we are legitimate), and some kind of contact info (phone, email, Viber or text number, whatever).  These forms shuld be forwarded to the company and the directors prior to the AGM with a list of issues we want addressed - the supply agreement, the accountability of the independent directors, the dominance of Glencore etc etc.  I think if necessary later we can coordinate ourselves into a legal body around a class action or shareholders lawsuit, if it were to go that far, as a "stick", while the company addressing our issues is the carrot", ie to keep us happy. The fact is that only votes will interest Noranda, and our utimate goal should be to have the shares fairly valued. For that, we need to show Glencore that we are not willing to let them run Noranda as an ATM. With zinc prices at ten year highs, Glencore are making out like bandits on the treatment charges, and by not letting us see the supply agreements they are hiding this fact from us.

If possible, a shareholder list does need to be collected and a mailing or emailing sent out with our organization structure and an invitation to join attached.

The membership forms can be collected by email (ie shareholders fill it out and scan it and email it to our website).

I volunteer to help out as much as I can. If anyone wants to contact me directly, I will provide an email address if you send me a request via the messaging app on this bullboard.
