RE:RE:Trouble with mathEvery year, there are between 40 000 to 50 000 new case of IPF that are diagnose in USA only, roughly 100 000 new case a year WW.
That means that if 4050 becomes the standard of care and can treat the existing case better than the other treatment and keeps more patients alive, then the pool of patient treated will grow every years by 40 000 patients in USA only assuming that maybe 4050 will save 40 000 patients every year in USA only.
I suspect that once patient gets better, they will have to continue to take 4050 in order to stay in good health. If it is the case, at some point after lets say 5 years, there might be 350 000 people taking 4050 to treat and stabilize IPF.
Time will tell
