RE:NY online poker/sports bet update

RE:NY online poker/sports bet updateA major point missed is that last year PA had not passed its iGaming law, and now it has, thus putting even more pressure on NY casinos. When a casino can offer you both land and online betting, it has a greater captive audience and it keeps that audience even when they leave the floor. NY casinos will be at a serious deficit in 2018 and that has to figure into the decision making.

As for sports betting, its a “sure bet” that the Supreme Court overturns it, and then the Republicans will be faced with a dilemna. The puritan/evangelicals are against gaming, but the business minded republicans are about freedoms and ot infringing on state rights.
