RE:RE:Green Is Positive

RE:RE:Green Is PositiveVT,

I wonder if our pirates have been distracted by all the chaos sweeping global markets. IVN sure picked a strange time to turn green, on the worst market day in eight years. All the terrific news of recent weeks, increased resource and rapidly climbing metals prices, were uniformly met with a determined sell off.  It could be they have other things to worry about. So do we.

Hopefully the stock market retreat won't spread to other asset classes, like real estate and non-financial business. My own feeling is this will stabilize and consolidate soon. I thought a 2000 to 3000 drop in the Dow was possible, and mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. It's way overbought. The US economy is growing by 3%, while the Dow soared by 25% in 2017. Enough is enough. Eventually people have to actually work in a real job and produce stuff. Fortunately the Trump Administration has some of the most experienced financial leaders in key positions. They can network quickly to prevent this from turning into a global financial pandemic. The only thing missing is George Bush reminding everyone, "This sucker could go down".
