Having used tap water and even some lower end purifiers etc ... the residue chlorine, flouride etc cetainly affect the taste profile of the end product. When I have broken down and used ultra pure water, the resulting sodastream water or juice etc tastes night and day better.

Ridethetide wrote: they use natural preservatives... 5X deionized water doesn't mean much. typically water is water in north America. Were not getting it from the local neighbourhood river in India.
