RE:RE:RE:Down 15% over 5 days...The ore in Doris and the other potential mines is an Archaen orogenic deposit. These are always sulfides, typically iron sulfides and pyrite. Sulphur spewed from volcanic activity seeps in and makes gold-bearing rock less soluble. Gekko is designed for coarse-grade pre-solution and this company needs to get grind size down to 13 microns, like Oceana is doing with Didipio. Otherwise recoveries will not get above low 80%.
While the Gekko was a mistake for this ore type and I don't know how the company will get the grind size this fine, I still believe that it will happen. Maybe alterations to Gekko can do it or bringing in new grinders. Didipio has the same problem with their new underground ore.
