Try and learn something from thisEven though it is tempting to say "We told you so"......and to get a little vicarious pleasure from the final denouement of EFL, in many ways it is all rather sad. Shrimp may have been excessive in his criticisms, but he warnings were there for everyone to see. Gerrit, in particular, has done a stellar job of providing factual, well wrought arguments to help people understand the risks that they were taking. If you check my prior posts, you will see that, in my own small way, I have tried to keep people focussed on facts and proper due diligence instead of hyperbole. Sadly, some people (Varedero) seem to be immune to facts and incapable of critical thinking. Worse, they deliberately and consciously shun sensible advice. I truly hope that those who have lost money on this company learn a lesson from the experience. Can I suggest that, instead of getting angry and defensive when someone else disagrees with your own assessment, you take the time to actually read what they are saying and criticaly THINK about whether they have a point and ask yourself if they are providing potentially useful information. Poor old Varedero wasn't capable of doing this and, as a consequence, has lost thousands of dollars. What a shame.
