RE:Reminder for LongsThat only applies to certain institutions. Check with your broker. I am with BMO Investorline and they informed me that shares cannot be borrowed through their institution for the purpose of shorting. No need to put them up for sale for this purpose if you are with BMO Investorline (at least).
