If you purchased Newstrike shares because you thought it was a good investment then don’t give any credibility to what you read on this forum. Unless it has been backed up with data you can validate. Below is a brief description of short selling tactics (short selling is borrowing of shares for the purpose of selling).

Short selling is highly regulated by securities authorities around the world, not only because of its risky nature, but also because it is prone to manipulation by dishonest short sellers who may use unethical tactics to drive down stock prices. Such “short and distort” schemes and other abuses such as bear raids are more prevalent during severe bear markets

“Short and distort” is an illegal tactic used by unscrupulous short sellers wherein they short a stock and then spread rumours and innuendo to drive down its price. A bear raid refers to short sellers who connive to push a stock lower through concerted short selling and rumors of negative developments.

Now, when you read through the many comments on this forum remember what you read here. Take to your own searches and look it up and learn all you can about it. It will help you understand how share prices are affected.

I’ll just leave this here, feel free to read the article below and apply to forum users as you feel is applicable.

Handling Someone Who Always Has To Be Right (Narcissist)

How are you supposed to convince someone who always thinks they're right that they're not? Trick question. You can't. However, there are ways to manage them so they're not quite as in your face about it. But life being the way it is, you're always going to be forced to interact with people you'd otherwise like to avoid. Here are some things you can try to keep the field advantage.

No matter what, you're bound to encounter people like this as you go through life. So, how do you get through it without punching them in the face repeatedly? First of all, remember that this is a character flaw and a sign of deep insecurity.

Choose your battles. If a person always has to be right, you're always going to find yourself being bothered by them. You have to choose your battles. Let the little stuff go, even though it's annoying.

Block it out. The best way to let go of the battles you decide not to fight is to just block the person out. Besides, you have better things to think about.

Ask them questions. Instead of attacking their point of view, question it. See how much they can actually defend when doubt is cast on their perspective.

Keep a level head. When a person gets defensive, they tend to lose their cool. People who need to be right all the time tend to be hot-headed, anger easily and are quick to react. Be the opposite, keep calm and controlled.

Choose the right words. A person who always has to be right will be very sensitive to word choice. Again, they're going to be very defensive pretty much immediately - it's just their natural state. You have to make sure you phrase things the right way.

Make jokes. You can use humor to diffuse a situation, or you can use humor to discredit their argument. Either way, humor is a great tool in this scenario. Either they'll laugh at something you said and will stop being angry and trying to prove their point, or they'll start to feel ridiculous.

Use sarcasm. Sarcasm is another tool that can come to your rescue in this kind of circumstance. Sarcasm is more biting than regular humor, so your intended subject will probably realize (if they're smart) that your jokes are meant to call them out on something. Sarcasm is usually pretty effective at stopping people in their tracks.

Arguing won't work. When you do decide to confront someone who always has to be right, remember that arguing will not work with this person. You can't tackle them head on because they'll just angrily push back. No matter what, they will defend their stance regardless of reason or facts.

Accept that they will never change. A person who always has to be right will  ALWAYS have to be right. Even if they improve a little bit, the behavior will still pop up. Basically, you're just going to have to learn to deal or move on. Your choice!
