Beverage Category seems to be gaining attention

I'm not one to spread rumours...but I was speaking to a neighbour who knows about my focus on CBD investments. Seems his wife is part of a group of professional women and one of their members was talking about a Canadian company that is marketing alcohol free wines and beers that is planning to launch CBD infused products.

Asked if I had heard anything. I've heard nothing so I did a bit of research and found no direct references in news or the internet, but there is a private Canadian company in Toronto in that space. Seems it also has some kind of charitable mission and is tied into MADD and a couple of charities and weight watchers....which may be how the women got wind of the rumour somehow.

I won't name names because I have no idea or independent verification, but what made it credible to me was that apparently the group includes types who might have somehow been part of a "news chain" and found it credible enough to share around their friends

As it is a private company, they are not at all obligated to release plans, but it is possible  that this rumour has merit...and if it is...it is great news for the CBD infused beverage category. The more players and products, the bigger the overall market and the better educated the market becomes.

Anyone hear anything???
