RE:RE:RE:A cautionary tale of investing in Canada Good catch Silver.
This has been in the back of my mind since I first read it almost 7 1/2 years ago.
But I always assumed it could be surmounted.
Not so sure anymore.
The bands are holding some, if not all the aces. The question is, what’s in the pot? If CZN folds now, not much!
They are certainly not going to develop the mine on their own. Right?
So, what’s left? And how long are they willing to wait? Are they willing to negotiate in good faith and accept a fair deal, and a win for all parties? Or drag it on for another generation, and bypass the current one.
The rocks in the ground are worth nothing until they are mined and milled and the concentrate starts moving to market. A simple royalty could be all it takes.
How much longer can Alan Taylor play this game? 23 years and counting.
This is May or may not be a colossal waste of time and money for shareholders, but at least it’s not our entire career. That would be pathetic.
One assumes there is a lot of hard work going on at the moment. And so we wait.
