Famous soprano Hasmik Papian joins the petition for stopping mining in Amulsar

Renowned opera singer Hasmik Papian, too, joined the online international petitionfor stopping the gold mining project in Amulsar. In addition to signing the petition she left the following comment on her Facebook page:

«I am deeply concerned about the future of our nature… I demand to immediately stop the exploitation of the Amulsar mine!» Hasmik Papian

P.S. We call for other popular figures in Armenia and worldwide to follow Papian’s example. Everyone can join this important process by signing and sharing thisindent; it calls to stop a project which contains very high risks of contaminatingfresh waters of Armenia. We are all responsible for ourselves, the future generations and for the nature.
