RE:Total Resource SummaryChevy,
The question is why? There is a reason I listed all the assets. IVN's share of the various partnership's is approximately $90 billion USD of in situ metal at Platreef, and $45 billion future recovered metal at K-K and Kipushi. What's more, every single resource is expanding. Let's suppose the recent attack on the stock wasn't just a bunch of guys out to make a quick buck. As you have already noted on numerous occasions IVN seems to be singled out for special treatment, where other less stellar projects bask in the warm bosom of a bull market. Just Look at KAT, for example, a pure Congo play with an effective NPV = Zero. They have an enterprise value of $11.5 billion CAD.
Perhaps someone wants Company assets, and this would be a lot easier to accomplish if share price is driven into the ground. You could keep finding plausible explanations for the price drop -- political instability, stock market correction, commodity price risk. The only problem is those spurious explanations don't seem to apply to other companies, or at least not to the same extent. IVN gets the paddle on the slightest pretext. Good news is also greeted with vigorous punishment. Sell the rumour, sell the news. Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps our grief is caused by a small group of cunning traders. But tens of billions of dollars in future profits is certainly worth stealing.
