As friendly as it is, mining flake graphite in Alabama is also a “loosing money digging up Ur business”.   For now the proposed cost of production from Coosa is higher than the cost of procuring graphite concentrate at market.  According to CSPG’s PEA, the entire value comes from processing common flake graphite into high-tech products.  For Westwater, what might make the most sense is to build the clorination facility first to process readily available, low-cost graphite from other sources and to hold Coosa as a hedge against future flake graphite prices.
