RE:RE:Flying high: 100,000 pot plants flown from Ontario to B.C.During alcohol prohibition everyone that wanted to drink went to speakeasies or bought from the black market. When alcohol was legalized the black market for alcohol dried up and is mostly non-existent. As far as home-grown goes people can Brew their own beer at home and make their own wine and it doesn't seem to be hurting the beer wine and alcohol industry so what makes you think it will hurt the marijuana industry. Also there is a massive black market for cigarettes and all you need to do is look at the profitability of the big tobacco companies to see that the black markets don't even put a dent in their profitability. You can also look at the Casino industry. In Canada there were so many smaller underground casinos and when the government legalized gambling and opened up commercial casinos those small illegal casinos all closed. Now you're lucky if you can find one or two small illegal poker rooms around the country. So enough with this homegrown black market oversupply story that people keep stating. It hasn't been proven true in any industry.
