RE:I'm going to be boringCurrower,
ELD is surely a hungry wolf in the area. They are digesting ICG and would be willing to roam around for more. They have their guys in the Technical Committee for drilling Triangle, and the cooperation of the twins that sold us down the river. It's a good assumption that they know a lot about the area south of their Triangle and it would be a surprise if they have approached the AZX Special Committee with their proposal. Let's hope that AEM and ES have a long-ranged game plan for us, not just a quick flip for short-term gain. I simply don't trust ELD with their "investment" in Greece, Turkey, and Romania. They know the flaws in their strategy and are trying to get back to a safer jurisdiction.
Let's also hope that PRB is in the running for a merger with AZX. I would go for this anyday, knowing the Dave Palmer and his management and the success at Borden Lake. BTW, don't write off G (currently with 14% PRB) as a major who would be interested in supporting DP and would repeat the play for DP to grow the resources to around 5Moz (seems to be a magic number for G) before offering to take that part off PRB hand.

If Probe and Alexandria are merged it will be because Eldorado Agnico and Sprott wanted it. As you all know Eldorado is a bit desperate behind a facade of corporate calm. Turkey is problematic and Beware of Greeks bearing gifts. They will be amenable to any offer that gives them immediate revenue to offset their burgeoning debt
I doubt it will happen but my only fear is that we end up with Eldorado shares which is when I sell immediately after announcement as I did with St. Andrews and the disastrous takeover of Lakeshore Gold by Tahoe which was arranged by Tony Mucci now coincidentally with Kirkland Lake Gold with Eric Sprott as a major shareholder. I wouldn't be surprised and I would be happy if Kirkland Lake ends up with Alexandria. I hold KL shares also. There are a lot of wolves up north in the bush. They will leave us some meat. We will be ahead one way or another. Good luck
