the reason why I sold is because the government is going to keep posponing and it will make these stocks go down! By the time this is legal, there will be a massive over supply of business' in this industry and it will tank most of them. This will allow big corporate companies to buy up failing business' at 10 cents on the dollar and monopolize the industry.
Good luck to all.
-alot of big players already have skin in the game...and alot entered after this recent pullback. Shark investors...banks/tobacco/alcohol The POTential is there. When i first bought bedrocan(later tweed) ,aph, acb, thc to name a few it was just for medical and only canada...now its a WORLDWIDE awakening .global companies.so much bigger then i even imagined....it is literally a billion dollar industry emerging from the shawdows of prohibition . dry flower/extracts/edibles/patches/pills/tincures/coffee/teas....on and on.......not to mention the other billion dollar business called CBD's. that contain no psychoactive properties and is a health product revolutionary in the making. The delay means nothing as most have big patient lists to fill and oversea contracts.
***-extracts have become a major part of these lps revenues and with oil you need tons of dry flower (much more product needed to make oil then would be sold on a per gram basis) also the case with edibles.
In regards to hiku ,the board you posted on,it is a different play all together..a retail brand that can speak to the customer .a more one on one experience that will sell high end hand crafted product that maximize profits. "Craft" cannabis....just like the craft beer market that is booming...people will seek out hiku products .a less crowded space for sure...
They aim for a star bucks setting in their tokyo smoke coffee retail shops...similar to how starbucks who sells a cup of coffee for 5 bucks vs a tim hortons cup that cost 1.75. They are both a cup of coffee but both have a totally diff perent customer base.
Thats what hiku wants....the customer who cares what they are buying and will pay a premium to get the premium ....
