RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Serious question.What they are doing is considered a prescription by their regulatory bodies- see their webpages. The context for which this prescription is given is to allow “access”. What I am saying is that after legalization this changes- it’s not access that is needed ( except for children). If you read the proposed regulatory framework they talk about two or one system of regulating cannabis - I see it as moving to one system in the long term with things returning to normal re: drug approvals and proper evidence to determine risk/ benefit before prescribing a specific drug for a specific condition.
Of course a two system approach could be maintained for sometime due to lack of research and perceived inaccessibility to sufficient strains with DINs.
There are a lot of unknowns- the big thing to keep in mind is that the access process as it is now is minimally going to be modified and reassessed in five years- ideally it will actually be eliminated- in other words the blanket prescription would not exist and is replaced by a prescription for a specific drug with a DIN.
