RE:RE:chinese money do people really think they have itrapid_fire_ wrote: The whole business world in China is an entire different Universe . People have no idea what your up against dealing with these people there. Business is war there not 'fair dealings' . Things that matter here such as producing a safe product, upstanding company in the community, paying taxes, Above board- dealings , no theft, no embezzlment, ensuring staff are safe and well looked after, reputation, producing what was contracted for, living up to contracts and promises , and so on - these things simply dont exist there. Contracts and promises DON NOT MEAN ANYTHING in the Cinese Business Culture. Smart companies are VERY cautious with Chinese businesses. ALWAYS,contract here , always get them to post a promisary/performance bond if possible, ALWAYS ensure you have Absolute rights to YOUR accounting staff , , and have them invest and commit first ....otherwise they will bleed you dry ! Sorry , have dealt with "mainlanders" for decaeds - SHADY is an understanemet . They will smile, while they pick your pocket dry ! You have to hold all the marbles here - or else you will get hooped ! Just my experiance in dealing their Business Culture for decades !
YES Rapid, good post. This then begs the question WHY in the F would you ever do any deal there by choice... and thus my initial apprehension for the SRAM “deal”. Now that they’ve accounted for that money on the bottom line, what happens when they don’t get it??
