RE:RE:Scaling up Production Capacity (video)The Isle of Man plant is just one in a chain necessary to extract plasma proteins. First in line is the bead plant at Joliette, Quebec, then the Isle of man plant which produces the ligands which are attached tot he beads to form the resin used in the process at the laval and Winnipeg plants to extract therapeutic proteins from plasma. The there is the the belleville plant that initially will be used for fill/finishing of the final product to be sold on the market. Everyone has been wondering about PLI's burn rate. Well you can imagine how much it has cost to scale up each of the facilities to ready PLI for commercial production. but the money has been spent and we are ready to go as soon as the FDA gives its approval of Pg. Next in line a year from now will be IViG. Others like AAT and IAIP will follow in due course. Nice!
