Just to let you knowOne thing I wouldn't invest is mining copper! I have seen copper mining project failed many times and at 3.20USD/pound you don't get rich! So if copper is the main focus this is a bad strategy, you need many other type of metals (like gold and a good amount!!!) to get the extra money to pay all expenses to keep it alive. Just for an example, a few years ago OSU had a nice copper project and the feasability report was based on 3.25USD/pound and they needed around give or take 115 millions to start mining but back then the copper price just went down year after year. They tried year after year to get the financing but they failed as no one wanted to finance them. They had to sell their asset to survive, consolidate their shares and restart a new project in gold this time......more then 8 years and millions lost for a copper project that looked good on papers but got destroyed because of low copper price.
A few years ago I used to read the information about TVI many shipment of copper....huge quantity of copper everytime they shipped....back then I think it was trading around 2-3 cents....I just looked today for fun.... trading at 1 cent outchhh
I am not here to scare you but to simply open your eyes and just be careful in investing in a main copper project. Unless you see copper around 4-5USD/pound or higher I don't thing this will be a success story but it's just my opinion.
Wish you all the best and hope I am wrong. The only good thing I see is the copper price rising and if it continu to rise this will give a big help to copper mining. The only question is will it stay above this level for many years to come?
Cheers
