Flow Dome Zone (aka porphyry)

Flow Dome Zone (aka porphyry)It seems that an opportunity might be being missed to present the Flow Dome drilling in the way it could have been presented, too many legal concerns maybe. The drawing only has the drill holes on it, zero information about the targets or the potential shape of what they are looking for, and the discussion could have included some interesting detail, I think.

What they are looking for is an extension of the VOK zone which has the potential to be a couple kilometres in length. The plausible viewpoint (sorry treehugger) is that gold bearing fluids left a network of gold mineralization from the edge of the porphyry through to the VOK. Being at considerable depth, it is more likely the veins will be narrower, and not as long, and so perhaps more difficult to find this when drilling from far away. On the plus side, since it is closer to the source rock, and gold does not travel so well, it would be reasonable to encounter the highest grades to date. The very high results shown from the drilling on the figure (2m at 2,100 g/t) are not surprising and could possibly become representative in general, however maybe at narrower vein widths (if they do find a system of them, aka the treehugger zone). If found, it becomes easier to follow it towards vok, because they now have a start point and an end point. Geology can be easy to interpolate, but always is difficult to extrapolate.

The source rock porphyry is unlikely to contain economic gold, however, gold (in super hot fluids) could and perhaps should have exited in all directions, not just at the one location where it only went towards the vok. It seems like an exceptional drilling target, if the porphyry is say two km in diameter they could drill all along the outer diameter, once they know where it is. This is a scenario where people should sit up and pay attention. I can understand the company does not want to get peoples hopes up, as another source of criticism, but at the same time, a reasonable person could see this as having remarkable potential, and so it could have deserved to receive some salesmansip, which would not be unreasonable at all, and yet it seems maybe to be downplayed??
