The middlemen

The middlemen
If this platform connects the mine directly to the cutter & polisher on an individual stone by stone basis, no matter the size, I can see no further need for the middlemen. That would release a lot of money to both ends; ie the mine gets more and the manufacturer pays less as that mark-up is shared.

On the other hand we would be declaring war on the big wallet diamentaire middlemen who have hitherto dominated 'sights' and sales by buying in bulk but not adding any value to the product.. Who would win the war? The one with the supply of goods I should think.
