RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:take over

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:take overNP,
My current theory for AZX would not cover companies that are not "close enough" from the neighbourhood, and Hecla would belong to that bin. It's doing something in Opicana, but somehow Hecla is not on my radar screen. Interesting to note that its Market Cap ($1.4B) is higher than ELD ($1.1B) and quite strong on Ag.

Talking about ELD, I would say that "be careful, a bigger fish may be watching!" considering the value of ICG and its cash hoard and marketable equity. A major might ignore the ELD exposure to Greece and Turkey and take a run at it, just to get the Canadian assets and the cash (divest the rest later).
Cheers,
GH

Yes, that is my initial impression too. Outside of Osisko, Probe Metals, and El Dorado, who else do you think is most likely? I think Hecla Mining could be a possibility, but I haven't explored this too closely yet.

Thanks,
NP
