RE:RE:RE:Lots of fool son this boardIt is unfortunate that they have not been able to form a partnership with CarbonCure, yet. CarbonCure is now saying that they have a solution for Cement Factoreies to capture their own Co2, for use in concrete products. That's a huge miss for CST. in my view, and it ought to be resolvable pretty quickly considering that they have a small-scale, efficient solution of their own. For whatever reason, CarbonCure has gone with capture tech by SES. https://www.gasworld.com/carboncure-consortium-advances-ccu-/2014265.article

Yes, it's good to be part of something which may generate $$$ (when there's nothing else), but nothing more. It's another small scale demo...with a twist. Now that CST has a couple of "partners" at the competition, if all of them make it to the end, the focus will be on other techs, not CST's. By joining forces, IMO, CST took itself out of the game. Yes, CST still has its own entry; but would anyone now go for capture only when you can have capture AND conversion? No brainer to me. And if one of the entries which didn't partner with CST wins, that'll be negative because effort was misdirected for many years. In any case, besides exposure and maybe some $$$, this competition does little to improve CST's product.
