Veren Inc. is a Canada-based oil producer with assets in central Alberta and southeast and southwest Saskatchewan. The principal activities of the Company are acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets related thereto through a general partnership and wholly owned subsidiaries. Its core operational areas include Kaybob Duvernay and Alberta Montney, Shaunavon and Viewfield Bakken. Its Kaybob Duvernay is situated in the heart of the condensate rich fairway, Central Alberta, which provides low risk drilling inventory. Its Alberta Montney assets sit adjacent to its Kaybob Duvernay lands, possessing similar resource characteristics including pay thickness and permeability in the volatile oil fairway of the reservoir. Its Shaunavon resource play is located in southwest Saskatchewan. The Viewfield Bakken light oil pool is located in Saskatchewan.

Big volume day.

About 10 million shares traded in Canada and about 3.5m in USA. Drop of about 8.3 % in share price. Stock closed at $8.46 today and is getting close to all time low of $8.08 which was created during tax loss selling. Some were expecting that the selling was all done and sellers were exhausted.

This stock needs to hold $8.00. It is trading at $8.46 when WTI is still above $60.00 what will happen if WTI pulls back to $40.00. There seems to be some bargain hunting by retail investors and lack of interest from institutions.
