trading question

I am hoping someone can answer this as I can't seem to find the answer anwhere online.

Odd lots or smaller lots happen regularly in trading. I get it for stock that might have dividend reinvestment. I don't get it with Spectral. What's up with the 100 share trades? That's $40 gross roughly at today's price and that doesn't account for fees. And it seems it is always the same firm involved in those odd trades.

I'm hoping someone can enlighten me.
