RE:Thoughts and ramblingsThanks for this. I will review the SEDAR with interest.
I remain perplexed about management's actual plan/timing for mine development and frankly remain unconvinced that they are as focussed (pardon pun) on bringing this to fruition as I gather do other members of this board. Please know that I am a long (suffering) Focus shareholder... I am neither a basher/pumper or any such crapolla (what a waste of energy this can be). I support the company because I have what amounts to a lot of after tax savings sunk into this thing...and under water for years....I have been waiting patiently for some time to see the mine plan come to fruition....but remain frustrated at the lack of visibility about implementing corporate strategy. For my part, I have found Mr Ecomo and investor relations unresponsive to direct enquiries....which is simply not the case with most other junior mining players I have stakes in. Whilst I am impressed with and enjoy reading about Grafoid's promising developments and reasonable speculation about the cross-linkage between their unfolding strategy and associated companies, including Focus....I feel Focus shareholders are being kept in a rathery dimly lit room as to actual developments/financing/timelines. Projects obviously have critical milestones but I am now concerned why the environmental study is moving at such a (apparently) glacial pace. I would like to share the same degree of confidence in the 'grand scheme' and richly imagined future that others speculate about..but again...progress in respect of Lac Knife is not clear-cut....at least not to me.
I am bemused by speculation that the market isn't quite there for the mine's potential output?. If this is your only investment in the sector....you may find such a view reassuring. But this simply does not square with the dynamics of the global market today. Rather than say more about Focus at this point...it may be informative for others to note progress of another graphite miner I rate who has made great strides in recent years...Syrah Resources. May I stress again. I am not 'pumping' Syrah...but look them up, read their presentations and consider how a graphite development on the threshold of production can look. Why isn't Focus in a similar position at this (late) date? https://seekingalpha.com/article/4076911-syrah-resources-limited-syaaf-presents-dbaccess-australia-future-metals-corporate-day
