RE:RE:RE:Who's the sellerEnter Display Name,
Every single mining stock I've sold for capital gains, was at the resource stage, and not yet in production. Many exploration stocks experience explosive gains based exclusively on their resource. More to the point, properties with grades like K-K, Kipushi, and Platreef, with both high grades and abundant resource, are exceedingly rare. You're stuck on the idea that only mines in actual production have any value. That is not my experience.
There is a simple reason why IVN is down. Most investors are ignoring mining stocks in general. Compounding the problem, that makes them an easy target for shorts. As well, actions by the governments of Congo and SA have not provided a stable tax and regulatory foundation for future growth. There are a combination of factors at play here. Production, or a lack therof, is not the primary issue.
