Full-Time Identillect Technologies is adding a Mobile UI/UX Designer/Developer to help develop mobile applications for our existing technologies. You will be working with a small and close-knit team to build the next generation of mobile products for Identillect Technologies. We are looking for a hands-on Mobile Product Designer/Developer with a passion for solving real-life problems through user-centered design. This position reports directly to our CTO in our Irvine, CA offices. The Mobile Product Designer will be the senior design role in the company with responsibility for the look-and-feel and user experience of our mobile and web apps. This role will be responsible for designing the UI/UX of our iOS and Android apps, implementing their source code and developing the automated tests for to validating the behavior of the apps.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, implement and test mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Gather product requirements from user feedback, user interviews, product usage data and key stakeholders
- Create intuitive user interface designs that meet the product requirements and solve customer problems
- Consult with development team on UI/UX issues and marry the technical capabilities to the design
- Evaluate and manage the end-to-end product experience
- Continually iterate to design the best possible solution
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience building consumer facing native mobile apps
- Relentless curiosity for learning how our customers use our app day-to-day
- Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss design decisions with key stakeholders and advocate for the user
- Strong and opinionated visual design with a solid foundation in typography and layout
- Excellent creative, conceptual, and critical thinking capabilities
- An understanding that design is not just how it looks but how it acts, works and feels
- Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role
- Strong understanding of product development
- Real world experience delivering working software on time and within budget
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and hands-on experience creating automated tests for the for the functionality they implement
Ideal Candidates Also Have:
Full Stack .NET Development Experience (SQL, C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS)
AWS, Azure, Git, Agile Software Development, Microsoft Office Add-ins, Chrome Extensions
