RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:News ReleasesThe reason EI was for sale is exactly that, they were making no money operating the way they were. They do NOT have their own supply of zeolite, they were buying....and still are for the moment...from a mine in the US and paying a crazy high price. Part of the reason CNZ decided to pay the price they did is they knew they could improve EI's financial position by getting them zeolite cheaper. They could also have just sold them zeolite, but with EI's products and distribution why not try to buy, which they did. EI needed nt only cheaper zeolite but some cash to operate and market.
I am sure the intent is to change from US to Cuban zeolite and improve the bottom line significantly, but we still need to see that happen.
In my opinion only, you will see CNZ use less of the APL model and more doing it themselves in the future....time will tell!
