What do the indigenous bands want?

What do the indigenous bands want?I believe the NB First Nations want: to co-manage the road, jobs, and a royalty based on production. This is reasonable.

i don’t know about LK First Nations as they seem harder to satisfy but I think they carry less weight as they have never really played ball.
The other bands seem to be on board, the further away they are, as long as they are included, and CZN lives up to their environmental commitments. This is reasonable.

The big question is the dispute between NBDB and LKFN as to whose traditional land it is. Look for further delays if this goes to court. I don’t think Chief Marcellais will give up rights to the IAB land to enable a road permit and Laydown area until he has assurances that LKFN backs off.

Happy Sunday to all
